Overcomers “Obedience”

Psalm 112:1-6

Joseph
Think of your life like a 1,000 piece puzzle that has to be put together! You only have one piece and the other pieces are the connections with others you make, the circumstances you walk through and the choices you make daily! What if I told you could never put all of the pieces together and you are only responsible for the one piece you have! What would say that one piece was?

5 Things God Wants to Tell You Tonight through Joseph’s story

  1. He Has a Plan for Your Life
    1. Genesis 37
      1. Many will tell the vision God has given you won’t come true…they may even try to put you in the most difficult circumstance to prevent it from happening!

  2. He has not forgotten You!

      2. Many times our circumstances lead us to forget God’s Vision for Us!

      1. v.14– Man may forget you but God never will
  3. He Wants You To Seek Him
    1. Genesis 41
      1. V.39-40 God allows Joseph to interpret Pharaoh’s dreams which sets him to be in a position he’s never been in & setting him up for a miracle he never thought would happen

    1. Genesis 42
      1. v. 24-26– Joseph’s Brothers didn’t know him!
      2. Most the time those who hurt you don’t even recognize who we are down the line…even in their own desperation
  5. He Will Bless Your Obedience
    1. Genesis 45:4-8
      1. Joseph tells his brothers it wasn’t them who sold him into slavery but God who had sent Joseph ahead of them to be part of their salvation from the famine
